Stansted is in Essex, about 40 miles north-east of central London, beside junction 8 of the M11. Into town, the M11 joins the A406 North Circular or carries on towards the A12, and the drive to the West End usually takes 75 to 110 minutes. The City and Canary Wharf are a little closer, often 60 to 90 minutes.
Not everyone is heading for London. Cambridge is about 30 miles up the M11, typically 35 to 50 minutes away. Bishop's Stortford, Saffron Walden and much of Hertfordshire are shorter still. Wherever you are going, the price is shown before you book, with VAT included.
Stansted has a single terminal, so there is only one arrivals hall to find. Many flights land late in the evening or very early in the morning, and we work 24 hours a day. Your chauffeur tracks the flight and is there when you land, however late it runs.
