Chelsea life runs along the King's Road, from Sloane Square past Duke of York Square and the Saatchi Gallery towards World's End. The road is narrow, busy with buses and short of places to stop, so our chauffeurs use the side streets and squares behind it. You get a text with the car's exact position, and a short walk instead of a wait at the kerb.

Each May the RHS Chelsea Flower Show fills the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, and the roads around the showground get very busy, with some restrictions in place. We plan drop-off and collection points before the day and keep the car close for the journey home. Match days at Stamford Bridge have a similar effect on Fulham Road, so we time trips around kick-off.

Chelsea Embankment is the quickest way east to Westminster and the City, and the A4 via Earl's Court is the usual road to Heathrow. Gatwick is often easier from Chelsea than from areas north of Hyde Park: the car crosses the river at Battersea or Albert Bridge and heads south.
