Chauffeur by the hour
Hourly hire, sometimes called as-directed, is the most flexible way to use a chauffeur. You book a start time and a number of hours, and the car and chauffeur are yours for that time. Go from a breakfast meeting in Mayfair to the City, on to lunch in Knightsbridge and back to your hotel, without booking separate journeys or waiting on the kerb.
Most of our cars have a 3-hour minimum; the Range Rover and Mercedes-Maybach have a 4-hour minimum. If your day runs longer than planned, just tell your chauffeur. Extra time is added at the same hourly rate, subject to availability.
People book by the hour for roadshows and back-to-back meetings, shopping on Bond Street and in Knightsbridge, a day seeing London's sights, or the theatre followed by dinner. Your chauffeur waits nearby while you are busy, your shopping stays safely in the car, and the car is at the door the moment you step out.
Every hourly booking is with one of our own chauffeurs, never subcontracted. The price is shown before you book, with VAT included, and you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before.

What is the minimum booking time?
Three hours for most cars, and four hours for the Range Rover and the Mercedes-Maybach.
Can I extend my booking on the day?
Usually, yes. Ask your chauffeur or call us, and extra time is added at the hourly rate, subject to availability.
Does the chauffeur wait while I am in a meeting?
Yes. Your chauffeur stays nearby for the whole booking and comes to collect you as soon as you are ready to leave.
Can I travel outside London on an hourly booking?
Yes. Hourly hire works well for days out to places like Windsor, Oxford or the Cotswolds. Tell us your plans when you book.
