Gatwick Airport to Central London
Gatwick is about 28 miles from central London. Your chauffeur takes the M23 north to the end of the motorway, then the A23 through Coulsdon, Croydon, Streatham and Brixton. From there it crosses the Thames at Vauxhall, Lambeth or Westminster for Belgravia, Mayfair, Westminster and the West End.
Allow 75 to 110 minutes. The motorway part is usually quick; the A23 through south London is where time goes, especially on weekday mornings and Friday afternoons. Late-evening arrivals are often closer to 75 minutes. If you are heading to the City, your chauffeur may cross at London Bridge or Blackfriars instead.
Gatwick has two terminals, North and South, and we meet you in the arrivals hall of the right one. Many Gatwick arrivals are families back from holiday, so the Mercedes VLE is a popular choice, seating up to seven with room for cases, buggies and golf bags. Child seats are free on request.
