Our service in Goodwood and Chichester
Chichester is the cathedral city of West Sussex, and the Goodwood Estate lies to the north on the edge of the South Downs National Park. The cathedral, consecrated in 1108, has a bell tower standing apart from the main building and the only medieval English cathedral spire that can be seen from the sea. Goodwood covers around 11,000 acres, with a racecourse, a motor circuit wrapped around its aerodrome, two golf courses and Goodwood House at its heart. We drive racegoers, motor sport fans, theatregoers and residents with our own TfL-licensed chauffeurs.
The A27 Chichester bypass has five roundabouts and a signalled junction, and Highways England has described daily queues at most of them, worst in the seasonal peaks. Chichester station, on the coast line, has trains to London Victoria via Horsham and along the coast to Brighton and Portsmouth, and on race days it is the starting point for buses up to the course. Gatwick and Heathrow are the usual airports, and Goodwood Aerodrome takes helicopters and light aircraft for anyone flying in.
Each Goodwood season has its own rhythm. The Members' Meeting opens the motor sport year in spring, the Festival of Speed fills the parkland around the house in July, the Qatar Goodwood Festival brings five days of racing at the turn of July and August, and the Revival puts the circuit and its crowd back in period dress in September. In the city, Chichester Festival Theatre and the Minerva stage plays and musicals at Oaklands Park. On race and event days we can keep the car with you from morning to evening and collect you from the agreed gate when the day ends.

On the road
- The A27 bypass has roundabouts at Fishbourne, Stockbridge, Whyke, Bognor Road and Portfield, plus lights at Oving Road, and queues build at most of them, so we allow for them on summer weekends.
- On Goodwood event days traffic is sent to car parks along signed routes, not by sat nav, so we follow the event routing and agree the drop-off gate with you in advance.

Goodwood names Gate 1 as the drop-off and pick-up point for taxis, and we follow the event signs to it. We agree a time and meeting point for the journey home before you go in.
Which racecourse entrance is used for my enclosure?
Gordon and Lennox Enclosure guests are set down at the East Entrance off Selhurst Park Road, and Richmond Enclosure guests at the West Entrance off Kennel Hill. Tell us your enclosure when you book.
Can you meet a helicopter or plane at Goodwood Aerodrome?
Yes. Give us the arrival time and aircraft details, and the chauffeur meets you at the airfield and takes you on to the hotel, the house or the racecourse.
Can you collect us after a show at Chichester Festival Theatre?
Yes. The chauffeur meets you at the drop-off area in front of the theatres, reached from the Broyle Road entrance, so you skip the queue out of Northgate car park.
Do you cover the Revival and the Members' Meeting as well?
Yes. Both are held at the Motor Circuit, and we plan the route to your gate or car park in advance. For the Revival there is room in the boot for period outfits and hampers.
