Our service in Esher
The old Portsmouth Road, now the A307, forms Esher's high street, with Sandown Park Racecourse near the station and Claremont to the south. The racecourse opened in 1875 and still sets the town's calendar, from winter jump racing through to the Coral-Eclipse in July. On other days we cover school runs to Claremont Fan Court and Milbourne Lodge, evenings at the Everyman on the High Street, and airport transfers for families and executives across KT10.
The A3 runs along the southern edge of town behind Esher Commons and meets the M25 at Junction 10, so Heathrow and Gatwick are both straightforward motorway trips. Esher station is on the South West Main Line to London Waterloo and sits right by the racecourse. For flights, we track your arrival, a chauffeur meets you inside the terminal holding a name board, and you have 60 free minutes from landing with parking covered, after which waiting and parking are charged.
Race days are the busiest. The Jockey Club asks drivers to aim for Portsmouth Road rather than the postcode, which brings you to the main car park in front of the entrance, while the centre-course car park off More Lane shuts for about ten minutes before and after each race. Claremont Landscape Garden, once home to Princess Charlotte and Leopold of Belgium, is a favourite for spring walks, and its car park opens at ten.

For the main entrance, set the route to Portsmouth Road (A307), where the main car park sits directly in front of the gates; free parking in the centre of the course is reached from More Lane.

The National Trust garden is on the east side of the A307 Portsmouth Road, and its car park opens at 10am, so the chauffeur arrives after that rather than queue on the main road.
