Our service in Wimbledon

Wimbledon has two characters: the Village on the hill, with its shops and restaurants along the High Street, and the busier town centre around the station below. Some of south-west London's best-known schools sit between them. King's College School faces the Common on Southside, and Wimbledon High School is on Mansel Road near the station. Families, patients at Parkside Hospital and guests at Cannizaro House all book our cars, and every journey is driven by one of our own TfL-licensed chauffeurs, never a subcontractor.

Wimbledon station is a major interchange, with the District line, South Western Railway, Thameslink and Tramlink under one roof. Parkside runs along the eastern edge of the Common towards Putney Heath and the A3, our usual way out for Heathrow. School pickups need planning: Wimbledon High has no parking on site and only a few metered bays in the surrounding roads, so we agree an exact meeting point before the end of the day. At airports we track your flight, meet you with a name board, and the first 60 minutes after landing are free, including parking.

The Championships take over the town for a fortnight from late June, and our separate Wimbledon tennis page covers match days. The rest of the year is busier than visitors expect. Royal Wimbledon Golf Club on Camp Road traces its history to the 1860s, Cannizaro House serves dinner in its Orangery overlooking the Common, and Wimbledon BookFest brings authors to town each October. Parents book cars for school events and the first day of the holidays, and couples for an evening in the Village without worrying about parking.

Events in the diary

    All England Lawn Tennis Club

Road closures around Church Road change how every car reaches the grounds; our Wimbledon tennis page has the match-day detail.

On the road

  • Parkside, the A219, runs along the eastern edge of Wimbledon Common between the Village and Putney Heath, and it is our usual route out to the A3 for Heathrow.
  • During The Championships Church Road closes between AELTC Gates 1 and 5 and nearby roads such as Somerset Road have traffic controls, so we route all Village pickups around that corridor on tennis days.

Questions about Wimbledon

Can you collect from Wimbledon High School on Mansel Road?

Yes. The school has no parking on site and only a few metered bays nearby, so we agree a meeting point with you in advance and the chauffeur messages you on arrival.

Are your cars affected by the tennis road closures?

During The Championships Church Road closes between Gates 1 and 5 and nearby roads have controls. We plan Village and town pickups around them, and our tennis page covers match-day drop-offs.

Do you collect patients from Parkside Hospital?

Yes. Give us the discharge or appointment time and the chauffeur waits at the hospital; the first 15 minutes of waiting are free.

Can you pick us up from Cannizaro House on West Side Common?

Yes. Give us your check-out time and flight or train details and the chauffeur will be at the hotel, with bags loaded while you settle the bill.
