Our service in Hampstead
Hampstead is a hilltop village of steep lanes and large family houses that run down towards Swiss Cottage and Belsize Park. Hampstead tube station stands at the junction of Heath Street and Hampstead High Street, the tightest corner in the village, and its platforms are the deepest on the whole Underground. With luggage, a car from the front door is the easier start. Heathrow, Luton, London City and Gatwick are all regular runs from NW3. For every airport booking we track the flight, meet you in arrivals with a name board, and the first 60 minutes after landing are free, airport parking included.
Hampstead's occasions tend to stay close to home. Burgh House, a Queen Anne house from 1704 on New End Square, is hired for weddings and receptions, and its Music Room suits a small ceremony. Each summer the Hampstead Summer Festival includes the Big Fair, when Heath Street fills with stalls. Kenwood, the English Heritage house on Hampstead Lane, draws walkers and visitors all year. - Heath Street and Hampstead High Street meet at the tube station in a narrow, busy junction, so we avoid stopping there and agree a quieter pickup point nearby.
- Camden's Local Plan recognises serious school-run congestion in Hampstead and Belsize Park. In term time we set early airport pickups ahead of the morning drop-off rush around Fitzjohn's Avenue.
