Our service in Regent's Park

Regent's Park is ringed by John Nash's terraces, among them Grade I listed Hanover Terrace, and by institutions that draw visitors from around the world. London Business School occupies Sussex Place, Regent's University London sits on the Inner Circle, and the Royal College of Physicians is on St Andrews Place. Residents book cars for airport runs and dinners, faculty and executives for meetings in the City, and families for days at ZSL London Zoo. The London Central Mosque, with its golden dome, stands on Park Road at the western edge of the park.

The park roads have their own rules. Vehicle gates open at 7am and close at midnight, and there is a 20mph limit on the Inner and Outer Circles. Parking on the Circles is pay and display by day and free after 6.30pm, which helps when a chauffeur waits for a theatre crowd. Baker Street, Regent's Park and Great Portland Street are the nearest Underground stations. For flights, we check the landing time ourselves and the first hour after touchdown costs nothing, parking at the airport included.

Summer here centres on the Open Air Theatre, whose season runs from May into September, and on Taste of London each June. In October, Frieze London and Frieze Masters bring collectors, dealers and gallery staff into the park for five days, starting with invitation-only previews. We also drive families to London Zoo, whose car park sits on the Outer Circle outside the Congestion Charge zone, and worshippers to the London Central Mosque for Friday prayers.

Notable places in Regent's Park

  • Venue

    Regent's Park Open Air Theatre

Entry is through the box office in Queen Mary's Garden, and after the show everyone leaves through the Theatre Exit Gate onto the Inner Circle, where we collect.

  • Landmark

    ZSL London Zoo

The zoo's car park is on the Outer Circle (sat nav NW1 4SX), and the zoo says it lies outside the Congestion Charge zone.

  • Business

    London Business School

The main campus is on Sussex Place behind a John Nash frontage, and the Sammy Ofer Centre is a separate building at 117 Marylebone Road.

  • Landmark

    London Central Mosque

The mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre are at 146 Park Road on the edge of the park, and the main hall holds more than 5,000 worshippers.

  • School

    Regent's University London

The campus is on the Inner Circle (NW1 4NS), inside the park, so arrivals use the park roads and follow the vehicle gate hours.

  • Venue

    Royal College of Physicians

The college at 11 St Andrews Place is a Grade I listed building with lecture halls, meeting rooms and a banquet suite used for conferences and dinners.

  • Landmark

    Hanover Terrace

This Grade I listed terrace, designed by John Nash in 1822, overlooks the park and sits behind a garden with a drive.

Events in the diary

  • Frieze London and Frieze MastersMid October

    The Regent's Park

Both fairs run over five days and open with invitation-only preview days, so book cars for the previews early.

  • Taste of LondonMid June

    The Regent's Park

The food festival runs over five days in the park, and the car waits nearby until you are ready to leave.

  • Open Air Theatre summer seasonMay to September

    Regent's Park Open Air Theatre

Queen Mary's Garden is locked after dark, so audiences leave by the Theatre Exit Gate on the Inner Circle, where your chauffeur meets you.

On the road

  • The park's vehicle gates open at 7am and close at midnight, so we plan early and late pickups inside the park around those hours.
  • The Inner and Outer Circles have a 20mph limit and pay and display parking until 6.30pm, after which parking is free, which makes evening waiting simpler.

Questions about Regent's Park

Can you drive into Regent's Park late at night?

The park's vehicle gates are open from 7am to midnight. Outside those hours we collect from the streets around the park and agree the meeting point with you in advance.

Where do you collect after a show at the Open Air Theatre?

Everyone leaves through the Theatre Exit Gate onto the Inner Circle, because Queen Mary's Garden is locked after dark. Your chauffeur waits on the Inner Circle and texts you the car's position.

Is London Zoo inside the Congestion Charge zone?

No. The zoo says it is outside the zone. Its car park is on the Outer Circle, sat nav NW1 4SX, and we drop you at the entrance before parking or leaving.

Can you drop me at London Central Mosque for Friday prayers?

Yes. The mosque is at 146 Park Road and its main hall holds more than 5,000 worshippers, so we allow extra time on Fridays and collect from an agreed spot afterwards.

Do you cover Frieze week in Regent's Park?

Yes. Frieze London and Frieze Masters run for five days in mid October, starting with invitation-only previews. We can keep a car on standby between the fairs, galleries and dinners.
