Our service in Marlow
Marlow sits on the Thames where Buckinghamshire meets Berkshire, and its bookings reflect both sides of the river. Families at Sir William Borlase's Grammar School on West Street, diners at Tom Kerridge's Hand & Flowers a little further along the same road, and guests at Danesfield House on the Henley Road all want a car that turns up exactly when promised. Across the water in Bisham are the National Sports Centre at Bisham Abbey and the Compleat Angler hotel by the weir. Every one of these jobs goes to our own TfL-licensed chauffeurs.
The suspension bridge is the local quirk that matters most. It has carried a 3 tonne weight limit since 1990 and a 2 metre width restriction since 1999, enforced by bollards on the approaches, and many large cars exceed one or both. Our S-Class, V-Class and Range Rover therefore cross the river on the A404 bypass, which is also the link to the M4 and the M40. Marlow station is the end of the branch line from Maidenhead through Bourne End. Heathrow is the usual airport, and the first 60 minutes after landing are free, parking included.
Marlow Town Regatta and Festival fills Higginson Park on a Saturday in June, with dragon boat racing the following day. From late May, Garsington Opera performs on the Wormsley Estate in the Chilterns, reached from the M40 at junction 5, and our chauffeurs wait through the long interval. Spa breaks at Danesfield House, private flights from Wycombe Air Park at Booker and dinner on West Street keep the car busy through the rest of the year. On a night out we wait outside rather than leaving you to find a taxi on the High Street.
